The educational trip to Wolin National Park by

the School Project Club members carried out within the project

 „Ostatnia szansa – zachowanie bioróżnorodności dla następnych pokoleń”

Trip date: April 2, 2016

 

Venue: Wolin National Park

 

Participants of the trip:

Members of the Project Club in Secondary School named "Bolesław Chrobry" in Gryfice, who qualified to participate in the short-term student exchange in Spain.

 

Aims of the trip:

  1. Broadening the student's knowledge -members of the School Project Club -concerning the protection of species of plants and animals in Wolin National Park.

  2. Raising the environmental awareness of the School Project Club members, concerning biodiversity of species and ecosystems in Wolin National Park.

  3. Popularizing the aims, forms of realization and products/outcomes of the project in state/public institutions and local community.

  4. Acquiring educational materials from Wolin National Park Management, which are needed to prepare the presentation "Protection of species of animals and plants in Wolin National Park.  Endemic species of Wolin National Park.", which will be presented during the mobility in Spain.  

  5. Taking photographs of protected species of "in situ" plants and animals and photographs of reserves in Wolin National Park in order to use them during the mobility in Spain.

 

 

During the educational trip to Wolin National Park, members of the School Project Club:

  • established an cooperation with the Wolin National Park Management and Department of Education

  • introduced to the WNP Management the aims and tasks, which participants of every mobility would face with, which are carried out within the project Ostatnia szansa – zachowanie bioróżnorodności dla następnych pokoleń”

  • visited the WNP Museum to know the history of the park, forms of protection of biodiversity performed in the WNP, species under legal protection and species from Polish Red Data Book of Protected Species

  • wandering the touristic tracks of the Wolin National Park, they got to know the species under legal protection, reserves and biogeochemical conditions 

  • authorial photographs were taken, which will be used in the project realization

  • an interview with Mr Stanisław Felisiak -the director of the Wolin National Park was performed, obtaining valuable information, which will be used in the presentation showed during the mobility in Spain
