Getting ready

for the visit to Romania.

After the presentation of the list of the students who have been selected to take part in the exchange in Romania, we've started getting ready for this visit. The following students  have been chosen: Klaudia SudoÅ‚, Róża Rudolf, Nikola Terka, Natalia Lisowska, Adrian Jankowski and Mateusz WÅ‚odarczyk. Together with two teachers these pupils will leave for Romania. We'll stay in the above-mentioned country from May 23 until May 28, 2016 and will try to do our best to represent our school well.

This mobility concerns the protection of water, air and soil. The project group has already had a couple of meetings and has been given some assignments. We've been working hard on some presentations and other tasks. I must say that the presentations are of very high quality.

Also, we've been attending extra English lessons and psychological workshops. During the English classes we've been mastering specific vocabulary concerning biology and chemistry. In addition, we've been learning how to write a good CV. We need to write our CVs to be found host families in Romania.

During the psychological workshops we've been learning how we should win with the stress. We've having also computer science lesson, where we've been learning new program Prezi to create presentations on higher level

Also, we're having extra geography lessons. Thanks to them we're becoming more knowledgeable about the Romanian culture, environment or cuisine. The students find the psychological classes very useful as well.

Our parents have already taken part in the organization meeting and have been informed about the details of the exchange.

During the visit to Romania we'll stay in the town called Roman, where our partner school is located. The pupils will be taking part in various workshops concerning biodiversity. For example, the group will be carrying out chemical and biological experiments or will visit some national parks. During our stay in Romania, we're also supposed to explore the city of Iasi and admire the breathtaking views of the Carpathian Mountains. The group is leaving on May 20 and we're hoping this little-known country will surprise us in a positive way. We're so glad that we can take part in this exchange.
